A new security functionality has been added to Morfeo website to avoid malicious comments to the edited posts. From now on, if someone wants to make a comment on a post, he will need to fill a field from a Captcha image, thus protecting the website from automatic comments.

email and mailto links displayed on Morfeo website are now protected from spam through the new Email Immunizer plugin. More information here.

The BackupWordPress Plugin creates a main menu, with various submenus, which can be used to carry out manual backups, configure the location of where these backups are to be stored and to configure when backups are to be made periodically.

This plugin works in two ways; the basic mode offers a simple interface and the advanced mode allows a better configuration and monitoring of activities carried out by the plugin.

Unlike the other plugins we have seen so far, the Simple Tagging plugin (once activated) creates its own menu with various submenus, known as Tags. The menu allows complete management of the tags entered by editors as well as the representation of the tags to the user (TagCloud).

After clicking on the Social Bookmarking Plugin, which can be found underneath the Options tab, a submenu will appear to configure the plugin as appropriate. The menu is divided into two main sections:

1. The first section can be used to specify where the logos will automatically appear in each blog to facilitate the page’s social tagging. The logos can be displayed in a post, on a page or both, with restrictions being set, if necessary. This section can also be used to specify the text that will be displayed along with the logo.
2. The second section can be used to choose from a catalogue of social tagging web sites that you wish to be displayed on the Morfeo web site.
